The gaming market has boomed with great games since the inception of third dimensional graphics. With this boom comes many different great game series such as flight simulator games for windows. With its gleaming graphics and great array of planes and locations to choose from, it is no surprise that Microsoft has created a great game for flight simulation players. Ubisoft has made a flight simulator for windows that comes in at a staggering second place. Although IL-2 Sturmovik came in second place on the charts it was the best World War II combat simulator. The game itself has appeal to all players including people who want realism and the thrill of dog fighting in the open air.

The next big project for the Ubisoft team was their continuance of the series with a new twist. Lock On: Modern Combat was placed further into the future with a shear amount of detail but failed to deliver any good amount of aircraft for players to take on. The game does however feature great graphics and a vast amount of airspace for the player to take on.

X-Plane was created by Atari and was a great transition for the game team into the simulation gaming environment. They have taken it to a new level not only allowing the player to take on the normal sight of flight simulators but are now able to take their simulation to the deep space. Along with new space travels they have still been able to incorporate a great deal of graphics making the game just that much better.
